Two-Component Solvent Free Epoxy Resin Based Primer

SOLVENT FREE EPOXY PRIMER, it is transparent, hygienic primer material. It is easy to apply, it has perfect adherence. It is epoxy resin base, solvent-free, two-component. It has very good penetration, is low viscosity and moisture tolerance. It increases the concrete strength by filling the capillary cavities of the concrete floors and acts as an adherence bridge for the epoxy or polyurethane topcoat paints and coatings.

Application Type

Surface preparation: All free loose material must be removed from the surface. All oil and dirt on the surface should be cleaned by blasting with sandblasting or compressed air. The temperature of the surface should be + 3°C above the dew point when the application is done.

Mixture preparation: ISONEM EP PRIMER is supplied in ready-to-use kits according to the mixing ratio. The mixture should be prepared to be enough amount for application by taking into account the life of the mixture. Before starting mixing, ensure that the material temperatures are between 15 and 25°C. Component A should be thoroughly mixed with a mixer at 300 – 400 rpm for 2 – 3 minutes without entraining air. Subsequently, all of component B must be poured into component A and ensure that there is no material left inside the B component. Mix for at least 4 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained and the prepared mixture should be consumed within 30 – 40 minutes.

Application Method: ISONEM EP PRIMER should be applied with brush or roller in order to obtain the desired thickness. When the mixture is got the suitable consistency, if it is necessary, the air of the application should be removed via spiked roller.

SHELF LIFE: 24 months from date of production if stored in original, unopened, undamaged packages.
